Easy Bag Tutorial by Little Girl Pearl

Hi! I found a great free tutorial for this week on a lovely blog called Little Girl Pearl.
This is what the bag looks like when finished.

Here's the link to it. She calls it a purse as that's what American people call their handbags. :)

You wouldn't have to use a machine if you had lots of patience or made your bag quite small.
The bag is lined and very professional looking when it's finished.
It's very easy to follow her instructions but younger sewers might need adult help as you need to use an iron for making the straps.
I made one for a present for my friend and she loved it. Why not have a go!
Happy Sewing!
Holly.

My new shop, website and the Homespun Fair

Hello! It's been so long! I have been busy getting my Etsy shop up and running plus, I have a sparkly new website too, take a look!
Now anyone in the world can buy pretty things made by me!
Hooray! *Happy dance*

In other news, I went to the Homespun and Vintage fair in my local village yesterday. Here's a link to their site:

There were some lovely things for sale! It was hard not to buy lots of things. I told myself I was allowed to buy one thing and came out with a very pretty greetings card.

Nice huh? I love the little wire hanger and the knitty top bit! It's made by a nice lady called Liz Lynch. Let's have a go at making something like it tomorrow!
See you then!
Holly.
