Sewing Tuesday: Evil Witchy Mouse: Part One.

Hi there!
On Saturday I brought home some oak twigs with leaves after I went to the park with Hopper. They look pretty in my favourite vase. I was very surprised to find this evil little witchy mouse hiding in them! She bit my finger when I tried to pick her up! She was horrid but kind of cool.
I thought I'd make my own, more friendly witchy mouse. Here's how to make one for yourself!

You will need:

  • Black, green and pink felt.
  • Black and green thread.
  • Paper.
  • A pencil.
  • Scissors.
  • Two beads for eyes.
  • A needle.
  • Pins.
  • Glue.
  • A two pence piece.
  • Stuffing or cotton wool balls.
  • Oh and little bit of skinny black ribbon.

Step 1.
Shapes you'll need to draw. They don't have to be exactly the same as mine, just the same general shape. My paper was A5 in size, (half of A4) to give you an idea how big my mouse will be. You can do yours any size. Cut these shapes out.

Step 2.
Pin them to the felt like in the picture below. Oooh it's a bright picture, the sun came out!
Make sure you put the green body shape on the fold like I have. Cut these shapes out. Don't cut along the fold of the body shape!

Here are the shapes you should have now:

OK! I'll show you how to sew them up in to your mouse in the next post! I thought you might need your mouse by Hallowe'en so I'll post again on Wednesday or Thursday this week with part two.
Holly.
